    Do you know if the above plasma supports prog scan. Not clear from the web site.

    Think it's an ALIS screen.

    Will it be as good as prog scan. for example if I plug in the 3 cable comp cables will the pic be as good as a prog scan plasma?

    It will support progressive scan input, which will be internally converted to 1024x1024i (interlaced). There is an advantage to doing this if the deinterlacer is better in your dvd player than the screen's because the screen deinterlaces the picture before upscaling and re-interlaces at 1024i
