Unless you need a very small Cam, go for PC9,or better PC120 !!!

Very expensive tapes, not as good video quality(still v good),bad-grainy footage in lowlight.
    Expensive.
    Good build quality, Sony!...

Bad-All big names Video Editing Softwares Does Not support Yet the Video Format used by IP7!!!

It uses its own basic soft. provided.

    Regards

I had bought it last week after the shop cut the price by 25% as the new IP55 is pushed to the market.

IP7E is really tiny, good if you don't want to carry heavy camera with you all time, or you can say it is "wearable". However the tape is really expensive (more than US$10 each) and it performs very very poor in poor-lit condition (requires at least 1 LUX).

I am wondering if an external lamp/light/flash will help (the bad thing is IP7E does not support external light source). Where can I get the external light source (of course using external power source too).

    Cheers,
    Tony Heung
