I have a 32" widescreen Sony iDTV, to watch Freeview, which works really well.

I have a Bush VCR connected via Scart, with a Goodmans DVD player hung from the VCR, and both work fine.

Any ideas how I can record digital TV ? I cant seem to find a way to tune the Bush VCR into the digital channels, or how to se the Bush VCR to just record whats on the screen.

Or is it just not possible ?

You can't tune the VCR into a digital signal as it doesn't have a digital tuner.

But, if your Sony iDTV is anything like mine, you have the option of sending the decoded digital signal from the TV to one of the scart sockets. You can record this on your VCR.

The only problem of course is that you can only record what the TV is watching.
