Sony HX5 vs Pannasonic Tz10

I currently looking to get myself a new digital camera. After some elimination is has come down to these two:

Panasonic Lumix TZ10 @ £164 (£229.99 @ BestBuy - £14.50 off voucher code - £30 panasonic cashback - 10% quidco cashback)

vs

Sony Hx5 @ £184 (£215.50 @ Amazon - Sony Vat Back promo)

That is the cheapest I could find these anywhere.
Which is the better option as the main camera - best quality pictures, nice videos, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Chris

Btw. Does anyone know if Best Buy is regarded as Panasonic authorised UK stockist for the purposes of claiming cashback?

Got a tz10 myself. Loads of great reviews for it, plus it has the manual modes as well as the Intelligent Auto mode. Image quality is great too.
