I bought my projector 2nd hand from someone who said there was no warranty. I did get it at a great price and the usage on the bulb says 14 hours.
I did get a demo at his house and it looked good.

I have spotted on scenes that are predominantly white there is a pink colouration that covers approx 25% of the picture. It is not noticeable on most viewing but I do see it occasionally and I would like to fix it if I can. I have set the projector to D75 as 65 makes the pink more noticeable.

Has anyone out there experienced this?

It's not unusual. Panman had a similar issue with his 40 but his was under warranty so he sent it in for repair. Sony did improve it but it was never completely fixed IIRC. JVCs use to suffer from it years ago too, but I don't think I've seen people complaining about them in recent years.
