For Sale SONY HT ST5000 Dolby Atmos 7.1.2 Soundbar

I purchased this from Peter Tyson, on 25th September 2017.

It is in excellent condition and has worked entirely without issue. I am using my Sonos Playbar instead, so this is now up for grabs.

It is a great sounding soundbar and very musical too (I've had my Rega Planar 3 turntable plugged into it and it sounds really nice). The Atmos is very effective in my room, with easily identifiable overhead effects bouncing off the ceiling.

The price is half what I paid for it in September and they're still retailing for £1300.

I don't believe I have the packaging, so it's collection only.

I have the order paperwork from Peter Tyson and it has the balance of a one-year warranty.

I’ve never registered the sound bar so I see no issue with the warranty. This is their European guarantee http://services.sony.co.uk/support/files/warranty/pdf/warranty_en_gb.pdf, which doesn’t seem to contain an exclusion.

As for price, if you could go to £675, then we have a deal.

OK here goes.. sorry as this is a very impulse buy please bear with me..
1. Have you had any issues with the soundbar like what some people have experienced in the owners thread? Such as the sub cracking, any replacement of the main boards, general issues as such? SONY HT ST 5000 owners
2. To confirm it works perfectly and that there is no cometic damage (bumps, cuts, scratches, grazes )
3. Do you have the manual?
4. In your opinion what is the sound projection like for the rear (even though it's a soundbar)?
5. Is the front sound clear and not distorted?
6. The paperwork/email from Peter Tyson can be provided? Also if I have a warranty issue, can you assist just in case Peter Tyson or Sony get funny?
7. Finally, the original boxes, you said you don't believe you have the boxes, any chance they could have been stashed away in a loft, garage (it just would be perfect for transport else I'll bring blankets)

Thanks for your replies. I’ve just spent the last 30 mins in Curry’s listening to one. Seems ok for a sound bar a tad big though. However one thing I noticed the ones in curry’s ran hot/ very warm above the Centre part. How does yours run to touch?

Also are you free this Thursday evening or worse case this afternoon?
