Hello all, I have had my HT-ST5000 7.1.2 soundbar from Sony for a while not and haven't really had a chance to fully mess with it until now.

I am finding that the 3D effect / Dolby Atmos effects are none very good or recognisable I understand buying separate speakers would be better but I don't have room for all seperates hence why I purchased a soundbar.

Is there a certain setting am missing or not enabling, I have my settings as follows.

Speaker settings distance
Front: 6.50ft
Subwoofer: 2.50

Speaker levels
Front 0db
height 6.0db
subwoofer -3.0db

Ceiling height 6.50ft (from speaker)

DSEE HX - On
Audio DRC - off
Audio output - speakers
Sound effect - Sound field on
Audio upmix - Dolby Surround

I am only using Netflix to play Atmos content as Netflix is showing me the "Atmos" logo and when playing atmos enabled content my sounbard is displaying its playing "Dolby Atmos" but am finding it hard to hear if I put my ear to the Atmos speakers I can hear content playing but am just not getting the effect I just have a normal flat ceiling nothing special so am confused why.

Any help would be appreciated with the 3D surround / Atmos effects thanks in advanced.
