Hi everyone,

This is my first post to the forum. I have recently bought a 49” Sony Bravia tv which works brilliantly.

I have an 3 year old LG sound bar with a sub which does not sync well with the Bravia. The sound from it also is not refined.

I have been looking at two Sony sound bars as the post title.

Sony HTCT290.CEK 300 W Soundbar with Bluetooth, HDMI and Wireless Subwoofer - Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06X6HH35W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_

And

Sony HT-SF200 2.1 Channel Compact Sound Bar with Built-In Subwoofer https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078X6T3HV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_JvtvCbZ5Q3BCJ

Both of these are in my budget of around the £150 mark. They will also both sync well with hdmi arc.

I like the compactness of sf200 but concerned that there is no sub.

I have a medium sized room room and tend to watch sports and tv shows like game of thrones. I do watch action films but not super frequent.

I would really value everyone’s opinions on both these sound bars and if they would recommend one over the other?

Would the sf200 be adequate?

Many thanks
