SONY HS50 firmware

Hi all i have been reading up about the sony hs50 on AVS forums
and find that there is a firmware update for this projector but as that
forum is mostly usa based has anyone here tried to phone sony for a upgrade
or know when the sony upgraded projectors are out

i know one shop thta has one of these but theres no way it has the new firmware as thay have had it 3 weeks

but if i see one and want one how do we know what has the new firmware and the new panel alinement how do we know are thay been filtterd to the uk yet ????

I'm currently arranging the return of my HS50 to Gultronics to get it sent back to Sony UK service centre for the firmware upgrade and to see if a thin line of green pixels can be adjusted out of the picture. Just waiting for Gultronics to check with Sony UK that they can apply the fireware upgrade if I return the projector next week.
