Sony HS20 USB connector

Does anyone have any info on how to utilise the USB connection on the HS20? Can it be used to control the projector or is it for service use only?

I thought that might be the case. And to the next question, what can I do with it? ANyone got drivers and applications to access the service areas? Or has Sony got tight control on this one as well?

Kramer, looks like you can adjust Gamma curves via "image director" software.

I have Image Director running with my HS20, I found it through a thread on AVSForum, try searching there or PM me.

Matt, got it now (used the Japanese site). Thanks for the pointer. Its a shame that Sony don't make the s/w easier to find.

hi chaps..
got my HS20 delivered today and so far loving it (HS10 died). Can anyone tell me how easy/hard it is to get the Image Director up and running..
Is it just a case of d/l the software and getting a USB cable running from PC to HS20?
Would love a few poin ters before I go looking for the software
