    Hi all,

Long time since I posted but I have been enjoying my projector too much.

Anyway been having problems since I upgrded the ATI catalyst driver for my ATI 9600. I went back to the old drivers that had been working fine and my problem is as follows.

    Powerstrip setup for 1368 * 768
Display Control Panel set to 1368 * 768
Desktop set to 1368 * 768 all ok.

But the picture on screen is set to 1024 * 768.

Ive search the forum for about 2 hours and havent found any help so far. So hopefully there is some kind person out there who can give me some advice.

The moral to the story is if it aint broke dont upgrade the drivers.

    Thanks

    Chris

When you upgrade drivers you have to re-add the powerstrip setting to the new driver and make sure that the checkbox "hide resolutions not supported by this monitor" has not become reapplied.

When you say , go back to the previous drivers, do you mean roll back or remove and then reapply? I always remove them in add remove programs and all of the ATi entries in regedit before adding the new one.

It definilty sounds like its not allowing the resolution, if that ckeck box is ok in the ati control panel, check powerstrip as well and try a reboot (you probably have). Try selecting the res from the slider in powerstrip not from the ati driver.
