Can anyone with the HS20 please let me know what PJ multi cable is supplied as standard with a UK sourced HS20 ?.
Does this support component and RGB connections (from a SCART with appropriate adaptor) ?.

    Many thanks for your help.

Same PJ Multi is supplied worlwide.

Length - 10 Metres, 1x Composite, 1x S- Video, 3xRCA Component going to the Sony PJ connector on the other end.

If you want to use RGB you need to purchase the PJ Multi for that - the one supplied does not support RGB, only Component.

    Many thanks Ozdvduser.

Pity that Sony don't provide a single lead which also has the RGB connections as well as component/composite/s video as I now understand from your information that RGB and component use different pin outs on the PJ multi socket.

SICHS40 - COMPOSITE/S-VIDEO/COMPONENT TO PJ MULTI - Provides for an extra Composite, S-Video and Component Input to the Multipin Connector. Expands connectivity up to 5 Video Inputs

SICHS30 - 15-PIN D-SUB TO PJ MULTI - Allows for connection of a PC or laptop via the Multipin Connector

Has anybody actually tried connecting the Y/Pb/Pr plus composite (for synch) from the standard pj-multi lead to a DVD player (via a scart to 4 phono adaptor plug) outputting RGB to see if this will work ?.

I can see that a separate lead (SICHS30) will be required for RGB from a PC as there are separate H & V synchs to connect.

Not quite, but I did try a digital tv settop box that outputs RGB to see if that would work - failure. Even though both PJ Multi cables have the same physical look at the pj end, the cable connections are different internally for Component vs RGB.
