    Hi,

My existing projector is sat on a small shelf built to fit it.

    I'm probably getting an HS-50.

I know it will fit on width wise, however, the sony is deeper (front to back) than my existing machine AND I know the sony sockets are at the back rather than the side of my existing machine. So I know the sony will sit over the font edge of the shelf.

Therefore can an existing HS-50 owner help me by telling me how far behind the front edge of the pj the front feet are? This way I'll know if it will sit safely on the shelf or whether I need to build a deeper shelf!!

With my trusty tape measure, I've had a quick look, as mine is also shelf mounted. The front of the front feet are approximately 95mm from the front of the projector.

Probably more helpful is that the rear sockets are not flush to the rear of the machine, they are slightly indented. I have mine as close to the wall as I dare, and I would say the minimum shelf depth you will need is 32 cm (assuming your leads are flexible)

Superb! As long as your cables are not as thick as tree trunks, you should be fine :)
