Sony Hs 10 Progressive Input

    Hi,


    Do any of you know for sure whether HS10 accepts both
    NTSC and PAL progressive input?

    Hi,

    I don' know about the HS10, but the "lower-in-the-range" HS1 supports both NTSC and PAL ps, even the guys from SONY's headquarters in Spain told me it doesn`t.

    I have a Primare v25 with PAL&NTSC ps output and the HS1. If you call the HS1 menu during a movie, and go to the sub-menu where it displays the type of input, you can read "480/60p" (for NTSC) or "575/50p" (for PAL). So, clearly, the HS1 accepts ps. It is logical to think that the new HS10 will accept them also.
