Hi,
I've connected a set of headphones to my Sony KD43X 8305C tv, arranging the audio output to give sound to both the phones and tv speakers using the options in Settings. Indeed, I get sound from both so that I can use the phones, and my wife can listen via the built-in tv speakers. The built-in speakers were controlled using the remote control volume button, and the headhone volume by selecting the headphone volume option under the remote control Action Menu.
This setup has worked well for some time until recently, when a complete reset proved necessary due to another issue.
Now, although the tv speakers can be controlled as usual, the headphone volume cannot. Using the Action Menu > Headphone volume, the headphone icon appears as normal on the bottom left of the screen, with the volume settings showing an increase or decrease as normal, however the actual headphone sound volume does not change but stays constant no matter tghe volume setting applied.
I find this totally strange and impossible to understand, since everything worked faultlessly prior to the tv reset.
Any ideas on what night be causing this ?
Ron
