    Hi -

I am struggling to fit a Sony head unit into my Audi.

The car is an Audi A4 with its standard wiring loom - that means that its head unit wiring terminates in 3 block connectors.

My Sony head unit has a Sony-specific plug on the back.

I bought a lead convertor which plugs into the Sony unit fine, but which terminates in 2 female blocks... not the three that I require.

Do I need to re-wire the car end of the plugs, or send the converter back?

    Cheers!

The Sony should have been supplied with a Sony-ISO cable unless you got it second hand. You now need another adapter to convert the Audi wiring to ISO also. I guess you need one of these but no idea which. Give then a call.
