The above camcorder has been released in US.It has a wide angle lens,29.8 in 16X9 as opposed to 43mm in the 520,a slightly larger screen of 3.5 inches as opposed to 3.2 on the 520 and support for SD cards as well as Memory Sticks(a first for Sony).Apart from that the 520/550 seem to be the same.If anyone has further info on any other differences and an idea of when they will be available in the UK along with an idea of price I would appreciate your replies.
