Im curious if anyone else has had this problem and how you solved it.
Suddenly my Sony HD5 just stoped. I can't turn it off, it's frozen. The screen is on and the backlight is on. I've tried to turn it off, it doesn't respond.

Ive tried to "bring it to life" for hours now, nothing happens.

Put a pin or a thin object in the little hole beside the "^BATT" compartment and lift.

And after that update the firmware to 1.2 (if you have not done that already) as it is supposed to address the problem.
