Hi! My Sony HD-5 is stuck on hold. One day the hold-slider became loose and it no more affects the state of hold on/off. The hold was on when this happened so now the player is stuck on hold and I can't do anything about it. I took the button off and looked if there would be a metal stick which I could turn but there's really nothing visible under it.
I think the hold works with some kind of touch on either side of the switch and the trigger is hidden under the top of the player. I would need to get to the switch and get the hold off (of course I still couldn't put the player on hold, but I might be able to live with it...).
Is anyone familiar with the insides of HD-5 and particularly the hold system? What should I do?
