    Hi,

I just bought a Sony Handycam DCR-HC40E which I am very pleased with, but have noticed a little problem - the image in the viewfinder is upside down. The LCD screen is fine and works correctly. I don't want to embarass myself taking it back to the shop if I have just pressed the wrong button, so if anyone knows whether I have done something wrong or whether I have a duff model I would be really grateful.

    Thanks,

    Jon.

To my knowledge no camcorder allows you to orientate the viewfinder image. It sounds to me like a fault. I would return it under warrenty and get a replacement.

That's what I thought, but many thanks for the confirmation. I'll send it back.
