I'm thinking of buying a Sony GX3. How would I best connect this to Panny plasma (with component) via Sky+ (via J-S convertor if appropriate)? Want to make sure i don't buy a recorder that can't hook up with decent quality.
    Thanks

I wasn't impressed with the component output from the GX7. It had nothing to offer above RGB.

Have you considered getting something with progressive scan??

I see that empiredirect were doing the GX3 for £260 and thought this looked like the best deal out there in this price range. I don't want to break the bank this time around. Any suggestions?
