    Hello

I have numerous vertical lines in my new Sony KV32-FX68. They are about one millimeter wide and few millimeters apart. Disabling noise reduction makes them less visible (noise seems to hide them pretty well ). The lines are not always on the same place and their appearance varies a lot depending on the picture mode (4:3, wide, smart...) and every time the tv is switched on the pattern is somewhat different. I've tried all the possible things I can imagine to eliminate them but nothing seems to help. They are, in practice, invisible when playing back dvds and most of the time with cable feed. A techinician came by to see the problem and we fed the tv single color signals from this calibration device he had, and the lines seemed to be visible only against blue and green, while the other colors seemed ok. Any ideas what's going on?

If it were me I'd return the set - you say it's new.
