Sony FX66 - no 50hz mode?

looking at this model in currys the other day, i couldnt find anywhere to revert back to 50hz.

is this the case?

yep, it is, you cant switch to 50Hz on the FX66.

Just got my FX66 and I can't get to the Sharpness and DNR functions any clues??

i found the sharpness bar was greyed out when i looked at one in currys, but i put that down to using the wrong remote - which i nabbed off a DX40. In another currys, using the correct remote, the sharpness adjuster was available - dont suppose they gave you the wrong remote?

Quote from page 10 of the FX66 manual:

"Brightness, Colour and Sharpness can only be altered if “Personal” mode is selected."

So, if 'Picture Mode' is set to 'Live' or 'Movie', the 'Brightness', 'Colour' and 'Sharpness' settings are unavailable (greyed out).
