Hi all, anybody help please as I think I'm going mad. "Somehow" my kids managed to activate the subtitles on our Sony Freeview box, so that now we get subtitles on every channel! No probs I hear you say, go to menu, settings, subtitles and........there is no "off" setting, merely a list of languages. I have searched all logical and illogical places and I'll be a monkey's uncle if I can work out where this should be turned off.

I have turned box off, retuned channels, tried everything.

Please calling all wonderful clever people with Sony boxes out there ..hhhhheeeeeeellllllppppp. It is really annoying having subtitles on all the time and I can't find any mention of this prob anywhere on the net.

    Thanks v much

    Neil

Just press the subtitles button to toggle on and off. It´s the one next to the Heart (favourites).

I rest my case on the strenght of the evidence presented by the expert witness (the manual). Button 6 guilty as charged!

    Hi

Well after this I couldn't look any dumber so let me admit to that I downloaded the manual and still didn't find it so I think I shouldn't be allowed to touch the remote anymore!

    Thanks

    Neil
