Hi everyone am trying to obtain a remote code for a Sony VTXD800U so I can use a universal remote control . Any info would be gratefully received

A list of codes to try for Sony devices usually comes with the universal remote in a manual or handbook. The remote's manufacturer website or helpline may be able to assist?

You may need to try codes for devices such as 'cable' or 'satellite' boxes to get one that might work - but even then it's possible it might not have all the buttons you may need - unless it is very up-market one that can 'learn' from the original remote?
