Sony EX720 won’t turn on every time

Hi folks,
Have a Sony ex720 32 inch that’s been pretty rock solid as gaming tv for kids over the years. Lately it won’t always switch on from standby with the standby light flashing red. Sometimes a plug out and leave for while and plug in again and it works fine. Very random when it won’t switch on. I did a full reset in the menus but happened once since. Any suggestions or is it for dump?

Probably a fault in the power supply.
You'd need to get it checked, get a repair estimate and decide if it’s worth it.

Thanks probably as well pick up something secondhand. Getting checked probably half the price of a secondhand set

Obviously if the OP is confident handling electronic components, knows a wee bit about the subject and takes full safety precautions that's feasible, otherwise, it's not to be recommended.
