Had a Tosh SD9000 - got an insurance claim because this was damaged. Player was sent off an classed as BER. Insurance company (via MIller Bros) want to offer me a new player. I asked about the Tosh SD900 but they say they can't get this because it has been discontinued.

They are offering either the Sony 9000 or Pioneer 939

Which should I go for? Both are excellent top end players. I am tempted to go for the Pioneer because its the most flexible but I believe that both of these players might also be discontinued so I may talk to Miller Bros about this first.

Any other suggestions for an excellent player around £1000 mark? I was really hoping on the Tosh 900 because not much can beat this player at this level.

I'll have to make a decision before the day is out!

www.leconcepts.com have the Tosh for 700 quid.

If your stuck with the choice of the other two personally I would go for the Sony, but thats my opinion.
