The Denon is much better of course!

It's far newer technology wise, has a 12mhz/54bit video dac (ie greater picure resolution than the 7700), has got rave reviews everywhere (at least in the UK!), is firmware updateable, is available in multi region, has NTSC and PAL progressive (if updated) and has a fantastic picture too! And it matches your Denon receiver!

I've owned one for about 4 or 5 months now & think it's great.
