Sony DVP-S735D - Getting It Chipped?!

    I'm thinking of getting my 735 "chipped." Does anyone know where I can buy the right type of chip for the 735.

    And, where might I find pictures on have to Insatll a chip in the 735?

    www.linkonline.co.uk for the paragon uprgrade which is RCE compatible but you need to send your player in.

    The chip that needs to be relpaced/modified on the 735 is very small and the soldering is extremely difiicult.

    I have just internet ordered a chip myself but I am paying somebody in my area to install it for me. It is not a job for a home soldering iron.

    Some of the other player have big easy parts to solder, not this one.

    WHAT ? it depends on where you buy the chip ... if the chip is either cheap or easy to fit then NO , if the chip is expensive or difficult to fit then yes
