I'd apprectiate any help in setting up my DVD player to my new MIDI system

    DVD Player - Sony DVP-S335/6
    Midi System - Sony MHC-NX3AV
320 watts total system power, 1 kHz, 8 ohms, 1% THD
    Dolby Pro Logic decoding
    Dolby Digital ready 5.1-channel inputs
5-Speaker system: Front, Center and Surround
    5-Disc CD elevator-style changer
Dual cassette deck with auto reverse, full logic
Two-piece main unit for vertical or horizontal placement
2-way main speakers with aluminum-plated woofer
    A/V UniCommander® remote control

I'm not sure what is the best way to connect them. Currently i've got the DVD Audio Out Left & Right plugged into the Audio IN on the Midi, but can i make use of the digital out? The midi has optical in, but only for the mini disk(!?)
