SONY DVP NS999ES - will it play CD+R discs?

A pretty simple question which I can't find the answer to anywhere - can anyone help? I'm thinking of buying a cheapish DVD recorder, the DAEWOO DF8150P (which writes to +R discs) to transfer a lot of camcorder and VHS footage but I will be playing them back on a 999ES (if I can get one!). What a dullard! I meant to say DVD+R (not CD+R). Sorry!

Yes, your DVD player can play just about all recordable discs
