Hi. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable macrovision on this player. Any help would be much appreciated.

Its not possible, I have had this player for about a year now, and have never heard of a way to hack/undo macrovision.

I have heard that you can buy special scart leads that remove Macrovision. Ask around on the boards, someone may know where you can get them from.

Try Keene Electronics or Lektropaks for boxes that remove macro vision, they call them video stabilisers or similar.

If you need the web addresses let me know and I'll dig them out.

Techtronics seem to have a fix for your Sony 335, Take a look at this page...

<a href="http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/50-sony-dvp-s335-335-multi-region-dvd-player.html" target="_blank">Look at middle of this link where the prices are</a>

    They have a send away and a DIY version to get it working.<br /> <img src="smile.gif" border="0">
