I found some Sony DMW120 DVD-RW discs in Comet this pm at a lowish price by Sony standards, £9 for five. These are described as "CPRM compatible" which I know nothing about.
Are these discs OK for general use, eg. LG dvd recorder and what is CPRM.

    thanks

Yes, they are fine for using for general use. CPRM as far as I know is some sort of copyright protection, like sky box office, which allows you to record onto the disc a copyrighted programme, but will only allow it to be played back on that machine that recorded it. At least this was my understanding of it. I could be wrong as I have never tried to do this.
