This months What Video & Widescreen TV has one on the RDR HX1000, same
as the HX900 except with bigger hard drive. I just recently swapped a Panasonic DMRE95 (I actually tried two different ones) for a Sony HX900 because I wasn't happy with the picture quality of the Panasonic. The Sony is miles better, but poor editing functions. For me PQ was the most important
and I'm chuffed with the Sony. It definitely feels like £525 worth of DVD +
playback is awesome on it and really good sound.

As one of the main points of using HDD is for editing material, the lack of DIVIDE on the Sony makes them best left on the shelf.Fully functional HDD machines are available from Toshiba and Pioneer.
