    Hi,

Richer Sounds have the following players for £100 (modded for multi region too):

    Sony DVD-NS305
    Toshiba SD-220E

A few months back, I recommended the Toshiba to a friend, which he bought and from what I've seen, it's pretty impressive. However, now that players are both the same price, which is the better buy?

Sound processing will be done by my Yammy HTS-5540RDS reciever. Still have to buy a TV, but as space is limited and it's only a bedroom, looking at a small 14* portable - I've seen a Panasonic one for less than £100.

My Alba DVD119 (£48.75) from Argos is going back, as it is a real pile of junk!

    Thanks,
    Neil

Sorry to waste anyone's time. No need to reply to this thread, as the Sony can't do VideoCD playback, which is a must for me. The Tosh it is!
