Info copied from Hardware central review.DSC-S50

One of the most interesting features the camera offers is the storage medium it uses--the so-called Memory Stick®. About as long as a thumb and a bit thinner than a floppy disk, a standard 4 MB Memory Stick® can store up to (approximately) 57 (compressed) pictures at a resolution of 640x480, 10 at 1024x768 and 4 at 1600x1200. To take pictures at high resolutions we recommend getting an additional 32 or 64 MB Memory Stick®. With 64 MB, over 16x more pictures can be taken than with only 4 MB. What usually requires at least two film rolls now fits on one tiny piece of plastic. Moreover, the DSC-S50 has a playback function that allows for the deletion of pictures that didn't turn out well, crop/trim, resize and a zoom function, so that the available storage space can be used more efficiently.

Did you not get a manual with it?

P.s I never said it would take 128mb, just that argos sell them.
Good price for the compatable ones though.
    Regards,
    Mylo

yes i did get user guide with it but it only gives out info upto 64mb.
I have read that it can take 128mb from another website,
I can also get the cards Even Cheaper from my local Computer store www.dcs.uk.com SONY 128MB MSR MEMORY, BY TWIN MOS, RETAIL BOXED. £43.50 Cool.

They are in Doncaster South Yorkshire.

I used to have a Fuji A201 and it would allow me to set the compression ratio Fine Normal and basic, I see the Sony does not. Is that true or am I blind.

I got My Camera for £129 Second hand with 3 months warr.
