    Hi,

Ive got a Sony DSC-P9 digital camera about a year ago now, it worked fine but then I dropped it and I had to have the telescopic lense bit replaced (by Sony at very high cost!).

It seemed to work fine when I got it back but Ive since noticed that I cannot take a clear picture of anything close up, it just blurs :(

I know that if you take a picture of something close up the quality can go but Im sure it never used to be this bad.

Could there be a problem with the camera? Has anyone else with this camera or any of the the DSC range had similar problems?

EDIT: I took a picture of a watch some time last year, and Ive just taken as similar picture, trying to get the lighting/distance/position the same. Here are the results...

Try it again the new photo looks like its in focus at the rear part of the watch and the woodgrain, the old photo is in focus at the front.
