curious if anyone else has experience or ideas for this one...

I have a Sony digibox (purely because it is small) the menus are noticeable slower that the previous Pace box. When the sound goes quiet on the program I am watching, I can hear another "channel" or sometimes the same channel, but the sound that I am about to get. This is particularly noticeable prior to advert breaks, as teh sound goes quiet.

I get this both with Scart connection, and also through UHF.

TV is also a Sony, 28FQ75.
Sky box does feed through VCR (also Sony), but this is always off.

Thanks for ideas.... or shoudl I just accept a larger digibox and get better quality....

nb I like the Digital out of the digibox to the Amp (Yamaha) - worth mentioning that I notice this problem more through the TV speakers than through surround.

Sony 750 boxes are slower than Pace, Sony 760 boxes are as fast.
Sound problem could be a faulty lead, try swapping.
