    Hi there,

I've owned this for a couple months now, but have only just tried sending out video to the TV tonight. I was only able to get audio out to the TV. Could not get any video to show.

I used the cable that came with the camcorder. It plugs into the yellow port near the top of the camera. Plugged the A/V cable into: First, the A/V inputs on the front of my UltimateTV receiver and then directly to the back of the TV (when the first failed).

Any ideas on what setting I need to change?

    Thanks,
    Jim

    That should work.

People sometimes have problems with recording from analogue on th PC9, but the other way is normally simply a case of doing what you have done.

Do you get no image at all?

I take it both of those inputs to your TV work perfectly well for other devices?

Well, I don't know about the UltimateTV inputs on the front of the receiver. That's why I also used the rear A/V inputs on the TV itself. I know those work.

Which cable are you using? Please describe both ends.

It's the one that came with the camcorder. On one end it looks like it has an 1/8" jack that goes into the camcorder. On the other end is your standard Composite A/V outputs: 1 Yellow RCA, 1 Red RCA, and 1 White RCA.

Just noticed from your profile details that you are USA based. You haven't by any chance got a PAL/NTSC problem. On my PC9 the default output is PAL playback. You may need to change the menu option on the output: FN MENU VCRSET.

Even with this set incorrectly I would have expected you to get some sort of image.

I don't see this option in the VCRSET menu.

Perhaps it does not appear on a US model.
