Sony DCR HC62E Digital Passthrough

Hi,

Looking for some advices

I have an old Sony HI8 camcorder and I am looking to archive the tapes.

I am going to buy the Sony DCR62E and was wondering if anyone knew if digital passthrough was possible with this camcorder and if so can you advise the best way to achieve this??

If it doesn't have digital passthrough can you advise a model that does ???
