Sony DB790 or Denon 1604?

I know something like this before but im going to be buying either one of these on Saturday and would like to see what most would go for here.

Denon, listened to sony and wasn't at all impressed it is well built but was fairly bad from the box and after all manner of tweaking it sounded no better.
The Denon is a nice amp for the money and is much much better with music than the sony.
But it is personal taste!!
