I want to buy this from John Lewis because I can get £100 off it
(so £350) but they obviously can t make it region free like say richer sounds can.
Does anyone know of an easy hack for it?

If you've got a local SuperFi, they might do it for £30 ish.
It can't be done by remote (so I'm told)
I Think Super Fi also pricematch, and they will definitely upgrade for £30 if you get it from them. I got mine in October from their Sheffield shop, and thoroughly recommend them.
Have a look on their website. www.superfi.co.uk

Not by the original manufacturers remote it can't, but there is an IR code that will work, that is programmed into the remote you "hire" from dvdchips :)
