Hi just wondering if anybody can help me,

I've got a Sony DAVS-550 DVD player/amp and a panasonic TX28PL12 TV, I want to connect the DVD player to the TV using the component outs and have attempted to do this with a profigold PGV372 component to scart cable into one of the TV's RGB enabled scart sockets, unfortunately I am not getting any picture at all.

    Can anybody help?
