Sony DAV SR2

    Anyone have any opinions on this set up as considering buying one. Or I may look at the DAV SC6 or 8 as may be cheaper.

    Just had my DAVs800 replaced by sony and choose this SR2, only thing wrong with it is the lack of connections on the back. Just posted a help message in the cabling section. Otherwise it's a big :thumbsup:

    I've had an SR2 for a week now and the two issues I have are :-

    There is no way to introduce a lip-sync delay into the sound to match the picture on the TV / Plasma / LCD. Its not a fault with the SR2 as such, its just that most digitally processed pictures now have a slight delay which means they are out of sync with the sound.

    And also there are only two fast forward speeds so its not easy to find what you are looking for mid way through a DVD if you need to.
