    Hello all,

As well as having bother trying to decide on a good 32" WS set (see Televsion thread) I'm now a bit unsure as to what home cinema sound kit to get....

I'd welcome opinions on whether I should go for the Sony DAV-S500 system (which I quite fancy the look of), or should I go for a (more expensive) separate:

    Toshiba S210E DVD
    Denon AVR1802 (or 1602??)
Mission Speakers (not quite sure which ones yet)

......to add to my PS2, Sky Digibox and Panasonic Video Recorder?

Has anyone got the Sony system? How easy would it be to connect my other kit to this?

    Help and advice appreciated!
    Adele.

It depends on your priorities as one looks good and the other sounds good. There really is no comparison.

You may also have connection problems with all of your kit with the Sony as it isn't exactly over endowed with inputs.

Most people choose between units of similar specs. The Sony and Denon are nowhere near each other.

    Denon wins this one easily.
