I have the Sony DAV IS10 and it works fine when I use the inbuilt DVD player. But how do I wire it so other components work with the surround sound eg HD DVD player and PS3?
Do I go HD DVD >HDMI>Sony>HDMI>TV?

The hdmi leads will go direct to the tv
hd-dvd player should have a coaxial output
PS3 will use an optical output to the dav is10
If you dont have enough hdmi sockets then run the dav is10 from component (thats if you really need to having a hd-dvd player that will play standard dvds
    to)
