Sony dav dz260 home theatre system remote control issues!

I'm new to the forum but thought someone may be able to help. My dog chewed the remote! I've tried a couple of shop bought remotes but none seem to work - even tried to get my sky + remote to work! Has anyone got any ideas? It's annoying having to manually get up to turn the volume down lol!
