A few years ago I bought a Sony D-EJ01 Discman. It was the mutt's proverbial nuts back then, and cost a whopping £300 (For some reason unknown to me)

I was led to believe that these "Discman Anniversary" models were limited in numbers produced. I want to know: Is this true? And if so, how many?

What is the unit's value now? I would still rate it as being one of the best bit's of portable Cd kits available, despite it lacking the capability to read copied discs (No hardship I guess)

I'd also like to know a bit more about the model. I initially liked it because it had a unique design (Slot in disc), which to my knowledge, has yet to be copied. I think it also holds the title of being the first ever truely round portable Cd player.
