I'm looking to replace my aging Panasonic digital camcorder (one of the original, NV-EX1B). My choice has come down to the Sony DCRPC8 or Sony DCRPC101. From what I can make out , the main differences are the memory stick function, USB streaming and slightly better Still Photo performance. I'm not too fussed about the Stills as I already have a 3.1MP digital camera. The memory stick I believe is mostly used for stills and short MPEG's? And the capacity is quite limited without spending more money? So instinct tells me to go for the DCRPC8, but is this model missing any Video features/performance compared to the DCRPC101? Is the additional £200 approx spend worth it, I am not a 'heavy' user, and as I say stills dont bother me much. Thanks for any help... Trevor.
