Trying to decide whether to buy an LCD or Plasma for a sitting room.

Interested in these particular sets, not too sure which is better. LCD or Plasma.....

    Any Suggestions would be appreciated!

    Thanks.

Is £1200 your max budget (average price of these 2 )? Do you care about freesat inbuilt or otherwise? Whats viewing distance and content?

As far as these 2 go the th50pz81 is a much better screen... however there are better options available depending on usage price etc.

Max budget is £1500, not particularly fussed about the freesat. viewing distance about 4 metres, viewing content TV + DVD + Video + Gaming.

Any suggestions of a better screen?

    Thanks.

Well you could save £300 ish and get the Panasonic TH50PZ80 which to be honest is not a great deal different than the pz81...

To considerbly better the Panasonic You need to spend £1700 on a Pioneer tbh.
